ROMANIA
October 22 to October 31, 2010
11 days / 10 nights
Photo tour workshop with lectures and critiques.

Join us for a fabulous photo tour and workshop in Romania! Many consider Romania to be the most beautiful country in Eastern Europe. This trip offers a photographic exploration of cultural and artistic treasures, and outstanding landscapes. Romania's medieval past long lost elsewhere is preserved in its stunning and majestic castles and towns. Photograph alongside Gavriel Jecan, who grew up in Romania and is intimately familiar with its rural and urban locations. This tour and workshop will shape the way you look through the lens as well as how you look at your photographs. Travel with Gavriel to some of his favorite spots and learn everything from how to capture the expanse of a landscape to photographing the smallest detail. While you will learn about technique, Gavriel's approach to composition will transform your photography, not merely add to it.

Participant Testimonial: Vicki, 2010
"I had the distinct pleasure of working with Gavriel Jecan at an Art Wolfe Workshop at Mt. Rainier. Gavriel is a very generous person who shares his approach to photography and teaching with knowledge, enthusiasm, and encouragement. I had recently made the switch from film to digital, and still had many technical questions. Gavriel addressed all my concerns right there in the field, and I could see the results immediately! Gavriel is warm and personable. He approached my digital challenges with professionalism and kindness and a genuine passion to help. Many thanks, Gavriel, for the great learning experience!"
